Is it me or does anyone else feel that this is the absolute hieght of arrogance and lack of practical application that they require an internet connection to activate their software and shut down the forum and forced people to facebook or twitter for answers?
I decided that keeping my rig offline was by far the best way to prevent interuptions while recording and optimizing my desktop from unnecessary background services and automatic updating. I realize that desktops are on the way out however I and a good portion of us will still plunk away on em till the absolute end.
Why doesn't this company or other so-called "Leading edge" outfits undetstand this? I guess we need to get with the program and die off with the Dinosaurs. I may be over reacting but when will someone stand up and yell STOP, not everyone is on the net in the meeting that decides these things.
Closing off their forum with the excuse that it's out of date is completely ridiculous, not everyone is addicted to Facebook or glomming on Twitter feeds.
Old fartdom I guess but I pine for the good ol days of customer support, ya know, a forum and offline activation.
