ProL should definitely be compared to MDynamicsLimiter, which is also single-band, not a multiband maximizer like MUltraMaximizer, which isn't transparent by definition. Anyways the sort of good news is that hopefully with the dying loudness war the limiters won't be an issue in the near future and they will just sort of perform all pretty much the same way, because they will just need to kill a few peaks from time to time, not like reshape the whole thing they need to do now.
