MasterMix manual is ... the forum?

Ok, I'm using MM for a while, but in some points more intuitive than by knowledge:
- There ist the thing called 'key'. (I'm not that guru, but never heard the expression 'key' for that).
I presume this to be a synonym for the three band compressors, so the parameters listed below Band 1...3 are setting these three compressors.
-But, für what purpose are the two crossovers?
- what is 'Key Gain' in comparison to the Gain setting below 'Band 1 ... 3' in the compressor curve preview section?
- The Gain setting below 'Band 1 ... 3' is the same as the 'Gain Makeup' in the Contour Edit section?
- Why is 'Auto Makeup' description signed as 'in'? If I set 'Gain Makeup' to 0 dB does that mean, that with activated 'In' the compressed and gain reducted signal will be lifted to 0 dB?
- Let the 'In' button left of the 'Key solo' button listen me to the input signal but post Gain and band settings?

So, you see, lots of questions and I really would prefer to have a manual I can read first before bothering you.

And, by the way: light grey letters at a dark grey backroung is a no go.

Check out the Mackie final mix manual all the features are the same except a few added features to the master mix and the master mix can not do a A & B
Comparison and the master mix has a hi pass and low pass filter add but all compression, EQ and crossover, ext. all functions the same for both plugins.

Found it at a hopefully not to obscure website (Mackie isn't supporting the document).
Having something to read and got my first impresseions.
Thank you, and I will ask if I got it right.

Groove 3 has a great tutorial there. It's worth it!

Maybe, but now I'm going to read the old FM manual first.
MM is not a 'giveaway' so I think, there should be a regular manual.

I found that Groove3 can be a good deal if you have several items you're like to learn about within a month for $15. That was my case with the Bazille synth (3 hours tuto) and some creative music theory (songwriting theory - almost 3 hours). The MM tutorial is to the point and will show everything MM is capable to do. 1 hour well spent.
