so, i bought the v2 yesterday and just opened a project i was working on with v 1.5 the last couple of weeks & i have to say i'm pretty stoked. the whole things sounds WAY better without touching anything. the project basically just consists of a dozen or so audio tracks organized in groups with some eq, reverb, etc.
the guys must've spent quite a bit of work on tweaking the audio engine.

also i'm on a crappy old laptop running ubuntu & it seems the cpu load is a bit more consistently low with less dsp load graph spikes.

the new interface feels a bit clunky rightnow, but it probably just takes some time to get used to. it feels the context menus are much more useful now, though.

the interactive eq device are a huge improvement in my book.

thanks for listening.

on a side note: i really found the upgrade price to be very reasonable. i had kinda hoped the installer would default to installing v2 alongside v1, in case of any unforeseen incompatibilities.

Hmm strange...the updates shouldn't make a single bit of difference in the way your project sounds.

Is this a joke topic?

yea, joke thread or some kind of euphoric placebo. Pls deliver facts if you claim sonic improvements with null tests. There hasn't been changes to the audio engine, nor the summing engine or other DSP code wich would affect the plain quality.

The plugins have change though, Polysynth sounds a little different with the same settings. Haven't tested the reverb and the delay in the beta, but I hope they got better too as I was using external plugins for them in BWS1, due to poor sound quality.
