Bazille Sequencer Issue

I am working on a piece right now in which I made a complicated patch with the sequencer triggering the pitch input of oscillators 1 and 2. So it was a minor scale sequence and I wanted a major scale sequence for the piece too, so I saved the patch, opened a new instance of Bazille, copied that patch and then re-wrote the sequence to fit. The trouble is, the sequencer is now acting totally erratically, playing it and then not playing it. The notes are in the track and you can see the MIDI input light. But it's firing, and then it isn't at all. It's maddening because I can't go on without somehow fixing this. Has anyone had this problem yet? I am using Cubase artist 8.5 on a pc. I looked at the VST automation and there's nothing other than a delay feedback being increased, but the issue preceded doing that. And I don't have any MIDI learn stuff going on either in case that was going to come up as a solution.

Great, now the same issue is occurring with the sequenced line in the other instance of Bazille too. This is clearly a bug of some kind. I'd try loading the h2p as an attachment, but KVR states it isn't allowed, whatever that's supposed to mean.

You can always zip the file and post that zip.rockmachine wrote:Great, now the same issue is occurring with the sequenced line in the other instance of Bazille too. This is clearly a bug of some kind. Thanks exmatproton, but I used the tech support and we have been discussing the issue, which they are aware of already. In other "weird" news, I managed to get the work mixed down to a wave file so you can hear it if you want. The issue arose from the sequences you can hear, one minor, starting at 4:28 and again with a call and response, major and minor, at 6:44 with the response at 7:21. All 12 softsynths are Bazille, no added effects and the only EQ I used was in one case, the bass track using Cubase to tame it.

Well, one of the "tricks" I did pd was to unload the instance causing issues, reload it and reload my saved patch, then it worked again, but only, it seems, for a limited time. The mix above got done and the 2 different sequences are there. *wipes brow, reaches for another sedative* Hey, I'm joking, no legals for me.

Hi rockmachine
Thanks - I just heard that it's a known bug, and that the Berlin bunch are looking into the cause(s)

The Bazille love affair continues in this ambient work which came together in about 4 days. It's nothing but Bazille, including the percussion part. Most of the sounds I started from scratch, with a couple in the library that then took a lot of sculpting for my own purposes. I used the sequencer but not for notes, as a modulation source.
