Okay, then let's do this: Should we release a polyphonic version of Repro-1, it won't be available as a separate product. However, it's neither set in stone that it happens, nor what it looks like.AnX wrote:Nope. Nowhere has uhe stated that you need to own repro1 to be able to buy repro5.
See? That's why it wouldn't hurt Repro-1 sales.

To clarify, are you talking about repro5, or just a poly version of repro1?

Repro-5 is the working title of our attempt to create a polyphonic version of Repro-1 by stripping down its feature set to something that works in a polyphonic context.AnX wrote:To clarify, are you talking about repro5, or just a poly version of repro1?

Hmmm...? I think a Prophet-5 emu fits very well in the description I've given. Not sure how that possibility can be ruled out by what I wrote..?AnX wrote:Ah ok, so not a Pro 5 emu.

I assume this is the Cat we're speaking about........(Did GForce actually do an emulation ?)

Sorry to keep harping on this, but what is the octave range for oscillator>cutoff modulation for the Zebra XMF module?
Also, I'm no coder, but am I right in assuming that it would be next to impossible to increase the range of octaves for Diva?

I think it's about 10 octaves, can't say for sure. It's a completely different case though, Diva has a very limited number of sources (Osc 1) while Zebra's XMFs can utilize whatever signal is on the external side chain input.rosschehayeb wrote:Sorry to keep harping on this, but what is the octave range for oscillator>cutoff modulation for the Zebra XMF module?
Sure it's possible, but it would cost more CPU.Also, I'm no coder, but am I right in assuming that it would be next to impossible to increase the range of octaves for Diva?

I'm set for Mono synths (yes, duophonic in the later Cat) so didn't think I'd be too interested in a Cat emulation but after watching the video it has a certain character that I find very pleasing. If I remember correctly in earlier discussions the idea was to release some of these types of emus at around $50 ? If you nail the sound (and I'm 100% confident that you will) at that price range I'm in.........
