There will be a discount, we just can't tell you how much!
Maybe the discount varies according to how many EA plugins you already own...I kind of get that impression from the email, but I guess will find out Friday!

Yeah, wish I knew how much. When I read 'It only works once' I recall years ago I used a code to see a discount but didn't purchase. When I decided to buy the next day the code didn't work.
I hope that's not the case here!

Only 15 days to use the discount code. I thought I would resell a couple of plugins to gather some money if I like the plugin, but 15 days is short to find $300 this way (yes, I don't really hope for a high discount, Exponential Audio are crazy good and don't need that) ! But OK, let's try.

Just downloaded the demo, been really excited to try this and have saved my pennies to buy it today...
It crashes Ableton Live 9.7.1 on start up, every time

Uninstall R4 and it starts up just fine.
I've emailed support. Disappointing though for a $300 plugin-in!

I also have nothing from these guys as I only have iLoc 1 one so cant even demo there software

Sorry, my platform is Mac Sierra.
The problem is actually with my (totally legit) Waves bundle, for some reason...
Apparently it's to do with the way it calls home, it can conflict with i-Lok.
I uninstalled my Waves bundle and boom, there it is!

R4 Sounds wonderful but is it worth the sacrifice of my Waves plugins...
Anyone else had this problem with Waves stuff and i-Lok?

Is that $300 the final price or an intro price?

I'm kinda regretting that I didn't get PhoenixVerb when it was on sale - does the upgrade offer apply to that? Anyone got a license they wanna pass along?

@simmo75, I am on cubendo on mac and pc, and have waves stuff as well without an issue..
Are u running the latest version of the waves stuff?

I got an email today with a discount of $150. The email directed me to a page on their site which explains if you have another product you can get R4 with a $150 discount. However the license will be NFR.

They did the same thing with Nimbus if I remember correctly, but with Nimbus, I think at least some people didn't get notice of the NFR thing until afterwards. I'm fine with it as long as they tell you up front. If you want to sell it later, pay full price. If you want a 50% off discount, just know in advance it's NFR.

Interested in reading how this compares to the usual suspects I.e. lexicon PCM, relab lx480, valhalladsp VVV. How would one compare EA (nimbus and R4) to Relab (lx480 and vsr24)?
