New user. Help needed!

Hello everyone. I've been dealing with an issue today when trying to record audio tracks in mulab. I'm playing my guitar through my tube amp's direct out and then into my Steinberg ur 22 interface. Everytime I start a new audio track, it is always panned hard left or right, even though the panning knob on the audio rack says that it is centered. In order to make it sound centered, I must pan the signal 50 percent in the opposite direction. What's happening? Has anyone else experienced this? Any help would be appreciated! Good day.

It sounds like you are recording only a single channel of audio. If you open the recording options on an audio track header, you'll see you can configure what audio channels are recorded and whether the recording is interpreted as Stereo or Mono. If you get this configured correctly, it should fix the problem.
