there is a noticeable delay of like a 1/4 of a second
this is on v2 release
i´v never noticed this before on any other version I have used

It extends in everything in the GUI from my experience not just the tracks. I will make another gif at some pointturbo_kev wrote:I.m getting it now, if I have 10 -15 tracks as I mo0ve the mouse to select different tracks

I have zero issues. But I have NVMe SSDs so I won't notice anything that has to do with disk access.

Hmmm ....
I took the jump to windows-10 x64. (was on w7 x64)
And that did a wonderfull job here! It feels much, MUCH faster now!
Does that make any sense???? (im no tech guy what-so-ever so bear (bare?) with me.
So maybe for w7 users to try?

It makes perfect sense. Under the hood there are quite a few things that are supposed to improve the audio experience. I'm also not techie enough to explain but there is a difference.
Two things I can think of: Bitwig and FL studio have superior cpu handling vs win7, it's the exact same computer
Again, the main rub on win10 is the borg-oriented updates. Resistance is futile.

Using a retina 5K iMac, things like turning knobs, zooming all get stuttery, because of all the fancy analyzer displays. Was already an issue with V1 with heavier projects, with V2 it's already getting slow in medium heavy projects.
Reported, but don't expect to see an improvement soon as it's being blamed on the mac's GPU and OS...which work perfectly well in other DAWS...
So after being teased with all the nice new additions to V2, I'm once again back to (super smooth working) Live because of this simple slow GUI thing.
Such a shame.

I use a Titan card for Cuda work and I have the same issues. Don't let support throw the blame on youRaffi wrote:Using a retina 5K iMac, things like turning knobs, zooming all get stuttery, because of all the fancy analyzer displays. How heavy is a full song? Are you hitting 50% DSP? Tbh the note still trails your mouse pointer just not as heavilyaquilyzer wrote:No problem here, windows 10 64bit, 16gb ram, r9 nano, 500 gb ssd, ur44. I loaded a full song. See attachment.

They said they would open the Google group again later. They made so much effort to respond to everyone and they were responding and fixing things quickly, I was really impressed. Not sure how you can say its like talking to a wall?codec17 wrote:Doesnt make any difference... Oh crap....
It wasnt sarcastic what so ever...
I said THESE days. And yes i was also impressed by the response THOSE days.
Thats why i dont understand they closed it. ( but my guess is that they are working hard to solve those problems mentioned there, thats why i wrote talking to a wall.)
And yes they open it soon again, thats what i wrote also...
And no,... i wont join a windows insiders program.

I think since 2.0 Bitwig is sucking more GPU even with few devices on. My iMac's running hot and the fans are on as if I were gaming..CPU usage seems normal thou.
