MuDrum pad velocity sensivity?

Hi,
I start to use MuDrum, since it seems to be really flexible module for any percussion tasks.

My question is:
as I understand, when filling a pad with two samples (e.g. referring to "loud" hit and "quiet" hit) with tweaking velocity sensitivity (VS) paramater (e.g. one sample to positive value, the other one to negative), I can make the BALANCE of two sounds change along with velocity (what is nice indeed). However, I don't know exactly how to regulate the velocity sensitivity of OVERALL PAD AMP (i.e. regardless to balance settings - very low velocity makes the mix almost inaudible, very hi - very loud). Is there a way to achieve it "out of the box" or do I have to use some additional insert module reacting to note velocity?

BTW - if I can suggest some future improvement, it would be nice to introduce a feature of pitch/filter sensivity as well, for even more realistic drum performance.

By the way, when speaking about MuDrum...

is there any way to define choke groups (e.g. for hats pads...)?

Hi, attached are 2 files, 1 is a simple Mux so you can see the workings more easily and one is the same thing applied to PQN's DR12 drum Mux. Be aware that PQN's Mux uses specific keys to trigger the sounds whereas the simple one uses the Drum Note Processor Module so every C note will trigger the kick, every C# note triggers the closed hat, D triggers snare and D# triggers closed hat.
@ PQN, Hope you dont mind me butchering your Mux

Well, thanks, it's quite interesting workaround

Attached two patches that give you the filter and filter&amp velocity control.
They also solve your question about 'overall volume'.
Both patches give you Amplitude (amount) of the velocity sensitivity and an Offset where you can add a 'minimum velocity', also known as min volume.
Experiment with if you set amplitude negative and filter max or filter low and amplitude positive.

You can add this in either one of the sample's effect slot or in one of the overall instrument effect slots.
Please use always the first/top slot, because only this receives the note information and the velocity going into the instrument.

You can still use your blend over as you suggested.

To be honest, for some reason I can't load those patches...

But actually I've managed to work the problem out by myself, without muDrum device, but with drum note processor triggering samplers and selected device (e.g. amplifier/filter).

Anyway thanks for support
