Hi, so I am just starting with my xynex 802USB model mixer and my behringer b-1 mic.. I cannot get tracktion 6 to allow me to select the mic/mixer as an audio input on a track and it will not let me record as you cannot record with out an active audio input assigned to a track.. no matter what I do I cannot get it to work, it is like the t6 doesn't recognise the mixer is there so I downloaded audacity and everything worked perfectly straight away, after 4 days of losing my mind over it I have completely run out of ideas and cannot find any videos or anything if the nature with the same problem?!?!
Please help me

downloaded the asio driver from the behringer webpage?
then check under settings-audio: set the driver model to asio and see if you can choose your device.

Thank you I read something about that earlier I will go download it now and let you know how I go!
Another thing, the first time I plugged my mixer into the computer and update popped up for a windows 10v etc audio driver, would that not be enough to drive the mixer?

So I have managed to get the mic assigned to a track, I can see the volume on the mic going up and down on the track when I speak through it but it still won't let me press record, it still says an active input is not assigned to a track?

Also, half silly question but I cannot have my general computer speakers assigned as an output at the same time as the mixer assigned as the input for the mic.. will I have to get speakers to plug into the mixer or will it playback through headphones from the mixer whilst at the same time as mic inputting?

plug your speakers to the mixer. the asio driver takes the mic input to tracktion AND the output back to the mixer.
your computers soundcard is not available at the same time.

you can monitor while recording through headphones at the mixer
