There's a neat 1 minute video about using Melodyne to detect an audio file's tempo and through the miracle of ARA integration dragging that information into Studio One's tempo lane for use in synchronizing VST and live recorded tracks. If you have not seen it, it's worth the 60 seconds to check it out.
Tracktion has ARA with Melodyne, yes? I've been able to do everything in this video except the very last step (dragging to the tempo lane). Anybody tried this or have any suggestions? It's a pretty powerful thing.
TIA

I've done this in Sonar. I haven't tried it in Tracktion 7.

Found this. Doesn't look like Tracktion has this perfected yet.

Hey thanks! I can at least try the midi file import work around they talk about. Hope a better solution is in the works!
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

No problem. I did try to figure it out in T7, but finally did a search and found that thread. Hopefully Waveform delivers.
