I am stuck again however trying to get a noise generator to run in parallel with the mfo / lfo. The volume spikes massively and goes quiet, despite level meters being maxed out.only when pad 3 is active I think. I'll check later.
Also, can I run another switch setup within the same polysynth, without either affecting the other? For example, I currently have the 8sw you made, but only use 4 at the moment. Could I split the other 4 to use independently for switching say the filter type, switching between oscillators, or something else?
Thanks for your help Taifunk really appreciate it.

I think this is caused by the velocity settings in the oscillators,I set them to zero and added a global VS control on the front panel.sl23 wrote:I am stuck again however trying to get a noise generator to run in parallel with the mfo / lfo. I also deleted the changes that I explained in the previous post and added a control for the amplitude modulation(am) on the front panel,It uses the same trick, but now you can manually adjust the intensity of the volume modulation.
also added a noise generator that can be mixed with the mfo/lfo.
check the folder, in addition there is also a bonus patch
yes,for example, I split the connections into two groups, so you can have different modulation sources or more.sl23 wrote:Also, can I run another switch setup within the same polysynth, without either affecting the other? Oh wow! Very kind of you to do all the hard work for me
Thank you very much for the patches, can't wait to see what you've done, it's all a blur to me

Jo, are there any plans to be able to use switching for filter types and other menu based currently non selectable parameters?
Taifunk, thanks again for your help, great stuff! Btw, that ALL SWITCH, am I to assume that is a universal switching MuX allowing independent multiple uses within the same modular environments?
Here's where I'm at, in case you're interested...

No problem,I'm glad I was able to help:)sl23 wrote:Taifunk, thanks again for your help, great stuff! Btw, that ALL SWITCH, am I to assume that is a universal switching MuX allowing independent multiple uses within the same modular environments?
It's right, the idea is exactly that,it is useful for me to compare the different patches between the different synth/effects or even for the modulations, but you can use in any way, thanks to the new slot module you can do many new things, for example I am building a template for a monophonic synth where the different modules can be loaded directly from the front panel, soon I share this patch.
Surely,thankssl23 wrote:Here's where I'm at, in case you're interested...

I just noticed Taifunk, that new mod where 1-4 are Mod1 and 5-8 are Mod2, you can't have two together. So 1 and 5 or 4 and 7. Each pad is still exclusive of the others. Is it possible to create two distinct and independent groups using this method?
Also I've just been looking at the modulation output and noticed additional ones could be used to create a mux with more ins or outs. To make this whole thing easier to use can it be self contained? I understand that the modulation section within the PolySynth can be recreated inside it's own mux, but you'd lose the pads, can they be recreated within the PolySynth too?
Ah... I think I'm starting to get my head around it... I see it's all down to that ALL SWITCH!!! Let me try something first... May be few days while I get time to assimilate it all and time to actually do it. I see that patch is quite useful in many ways. Thanks

however, I always try to do my best
You are right, sorry I forgot to change this thingsl23 wrote:I just noticed Taifunk, that new mod where 1-4 are Mod1 and 5-8 are Mod2, you can't have two together. So 1 and 5 or 4 and 7. at the moment I can not change the patch but If you can wait until tomorrow I can upload your edited patch and also explain the process to divide the different pads in different groups, no problem.

Another FR Jo...
Is there a possibility of adding up or back buttons to the MuX toolbar? This would allow you to go to the MuX level above where you are. So if you have 4 MuX's each inside the other, it would be like a folder structure in Windows. Entering each MuX is simple enough, but I have found that often I want to go to the MuX level above where I am but have to reopen the front panel or figure out which is which in the minimised toolbar. The ability to go up would be such a time saver and workflow boost I think.

No worries, I'm onto v4 anyway, think I may change this to use that ALL SWITCH, will see how compatible/easy it is to change/use.Taifunk wrote:You are right, sorry I forgot to change this thing![]()

oK
I explain how it works, it may be useful.
Change in order the first four parameter value randomizer modules(in the patch are renamed "PVR")
open the first PVR1 and set the target parameter 5,6,7,8 to "none"
repeat the same action in PVR2,PVR3,PVR4.
Do the same thing in the second group but starting from PVR5,set the target parameter 1,2,3,4 to "none"
repeat the same action in PVR6,PVR7,PVR8 ,that's all

Ah! Just realised that the All Sw.mux can't be used in a polysynth!!! Damn!

exactly, also to answer the questions of the previous post,sl23 wrote:Ah! Just realised that the All Sw.mux can't be used in a polysynth!!! Damn!
yes, outside the polysynth there are different possibilities to build their own templates, but everything will be monophonic, like true modular synth.sl23 wrote:Also I've just been looking at the modulation output and noticed additional ones could be used to create a mux with more ins or outs. exactly, there are other ways with too many modules but in this case the CPU load would be very high, for this reason is better wait patiently and happily the new switch modulesI understand that the modulation section within the PolySynth can be recreated inside it's own mux, but you'd lose the pads, can they be recreated within the PolySynth too?
