Lunchpad mk2 RGB sysex

I tried to take advantage of the RGB mode, but it's not working as expected, the colours are way off. For example the Bitwig red, which is more or less [217,46,36] appears pink instead of dark red. Is this normal? I'm wondering if this is because of how the LEDs work, or if the colours are somehow mapped to an internal pallete anyway, even when using sysEx.

I solved the problem by squaring each color component (they are in range 0 to 1) before sending it the Launchpad, the LED brightness response is not linear but exponential. Now it works flawlessly, and I get the Bitwig rainbow colours on my Launchpad
