Render your opinions based on past experience. I have a coupon for $25 from PA. Do I:
1) Grab BX-meter for free, which I don't need, but, free?
2) Expect something else might be interesting before the end of March?
3) Don't spend it because grabbing free stuff will hurt my chances for more coupons?
(On edit: I see that there is one remaining flash sale, but it has nothing that I want)

Where did you see the next Flash sale?
I still have my $25 voucher.
I may just let it expire.

It's in the email that comes with your voucher. MAr 24-26, EQ4 and Character. I don't care about EQ4 and I already have character.
The only reason to let the coupon lapse is if you think that it will hurt your chances of getting more coupons. I don't know, I'm probably going to grab BX-meter unless someone chimes in here. I kind of do like the layout and it's much less complicated than insight, which is my goto meter these days.

What you could also do is get the BX-meter for nothing, then add any other PA plugin and get 20% discount on that as part of their "create your own bundle" deal. Did this when they were discounting the Unfiltered Audio plugs and, using the $25 voucher and the bundle discount, got both for around $80 inclusive, rather than the $120 (+20% VAT for EU members) that they were priced at on sale.ghettosynth wrote:Kalamata Kid wrote:https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products.htmlghettosynth wrote:Render your opinions based on past experience. To be honest, the only thing I was interested in this month was the BX Limiter XL and think I'll actually try and finish a few more pieces before looking to buy mastering kit.

I thought about that. It's too late now, I just grabbed the meter. I'm kind of at the point of diminishing returns with plugins at the moment TBH. Only Zynaptiq and GRM are on my immediate radar. It's funny, I had nothing from PA a few months ago, now I have a bunch of their stuff, but it was all on a decent sale.shonky wrote: What you could also do is get the BX-meter for nothing, then add any other PA plugin and get 20% discount on that as part of their "create your own bundle" deal. It seems that way, but, I didn't know much about them really until recently. I do treat them the same way that I treat Waves. That said, like Waves, I've spent money with them. I don't care what retail price you slap on something, if you get it into my perceived value window for the given technology, I'll pick it up.Ryan99 wrote:Plugin-Alliance is quickly becoming like Waves for effects sale...
I don't like to use vouchers for free things though. I wish there had been something else that I wanted.

Big up to Uncle E at JRR
Was pretty peeved at FXpansion splitting DCAM Synth Squad and then charging $73 for the upgrade
But now the universe has realigned and I feel an inward sense of peace and calm once more thanks to the new fxpansion sale

Except they charge tax and the deals can't be had via any other distributor to avoid thisRyan99 wrote:Plugin-Alliance is quickly becoming like Waves for effects sale...

What *is* the actual value of Waves plugins. Does anyone actually pay sticker price for those things? Most of their plugins seem to be really old.ghettosynth wrote:It seems that way, but, I didn't know much about them really until recently. I do treat them the same way that I treat Waves.
