I like the vibe a lot, a bit too much high end for my taste, but I can always roll of a bit later on, I assume MTurboReverb will have a hi/locut or a complete EQ section.

There is three different versions and Gino Van one is the bright one. I was matching how bright the old Gino Vanelli records are.
But yes there is Lopass Filter, Treble and Hi Freq Damping.
Same for the bottom end so you can do what you want.

I'm a bit annoyed because I just bought Pro-R, Valhalla Plate and Valhalla Shimmer in the last 6 months. After listening to some of the MTurboReverb Presets I wonder if I could have saved me that money

Hehe thank you
There's never enough reverbs :). But MTurboReverb will probably indeed replace pretty much everything. I like the Valhalla stuff though, nothing that you couldn't do with MTR probably, but still... But I don't like Pro-R at all, it seems like it's all about the fancy graphs there and the sound is well... not good imho. But at the end every reverb might get handy at some point ;).

Yes you are right, I love my Valhalla reverbs a lot, and even if MTurboReverb will be great for sure, they will always keep their use.

I'm still a bit ambuvalent about Pro-R to be honest. Sometimes it sounds very nice and lush but often I just can't make it sit in the mix...

Exact opposit here  Tested it yesterday and bought it today. To me this is the reverb that would be worth having the "turbo" in its name. Never had a reverb that is easier to tweak and that fits better in the mix with less effort. I like the few paramters and their names really describe what they do. And I totally have a crush on the decay rate eq (which I didn't pay much intention to in the first videos I've seen)

I've been working with the new spectral, stuff and I've come up with a preset that should be interesting for ambient stuff. Check it out here.

dry->wet(50/50 spectral normal verb)->reverse(this adds a little movement to the tail)->pitchshift up->pitchshift down

In retrospect I shouldn't have used that synth sound because it has too much white noise in it, but hopefully you can get an idea of what it sounds like.

@spencerlee You're presets sound very good. I liked the sound of them all. I'm sorry to say I've already submitted a preset called platinum plate though.

Count me as someone that doesn't understand the Pro-R hype. It sounds like a normal clean reverb to me, it just doesn't have a lot of controls. Maybe that is the attraction, but it doesn't have enough power for me, especially for the price.

Hey Chandlerhimself I don't mind changing the name of my plate to Cobalt Plate. The only thing I am precious about is the sound.
I like your preset but I would like to hear it on another sound.
What I like most about it is that it does not sound like one of my presets.
It is great that different people take different approaches giving us great variations.

I am using the Room Type to change all sorts of parameters and reflecting changes of knob positions on the easy screen.
Vojtech thinks this is going to confuse people. But my problem is I cannot do it any other way and keep the functionality of my presets.
So my presets may not make it to the final release. I don't mind this but I would like people to be able to use my sounds.

Even if your presets don't make it to the final release make them available here. That way people can DL them and choose to use them if they want. One of the best things about MTR is the fact that there can be multiple approaches and sounds.

As soon as I complete them all I will upload them here.

Since the invention of software applications, users have been using them differently to the way the software writers conceived.
This is called creativity and this is good.

I know what it is like. I was adding samples to the Farilight Series 3 factory library and I added a stack of string runs.
I had a concept of how they should be used.
Then a Pet Shop Boys record came out with one of the string runs being repeated 20 times at the end of the record.
I thought it sounded ridiculous but the record went number one in the charts all over the world.
So what the f**k do I know.
