LP filter, EQ HPfilter in Mulab?
Will I be able to change the 12 dB / oct, 24 dB/oct?
thank you

There is a factory preset filter at 48dB/Oct. Check it out and you'll see that it's just a series of filters. Delete the ones you don't need to reduce the slope.
multimodefilter i find in mux modules area, Is it right? there are compresor and limitersl23 wrote:No problem.
Try the multimode filter, that covers all basic types. Just open that factory filter mux and replace all filters with multimode.
What is this ?runaudio wrote:i got this a couple of years ago anyone make sense of this ? You set the Q to 0.71, which is basically correct for a 12dB Butterworth filter (1/sqrt(2) = 1/1.414).
If you add another, you have to change the Q values for the steepest and most flat filter.
Here are the coeficients for 12, 24, 36 and 48dB of Butterworth filters.
2 1.4142 1.4142
4 0.7654 1.8478 1.8478 0.7654
6 0.5176 1.4142 1.9319 1.9319 1.4142 0.5176
8 0.3902 1.1111 1.6629 1.9616 1.9616 1.6629 1.1111 0.3902
In MUX the numbers are the 1/Q of the filter. in the standard MUX filter, which is a 2pole, 12dB filter, the coeficients are the mentioned 1.414. So set Q = 1/coef.
Always 2 coef go in one MUX filter as the coefs are for 6dB filters.
Isn't that the idea?!Taifunk wrote:no need to link all the filter Q factor to a single control, otherwise you get a tremendous resonance that destroys your ears and your home.
