How to hear plugin during live recording?

Newb here!

Just downloaded Tracktion 5, and I am able to apply plugins like Bias FX and Reaktor to tracks, but they only apply after recording. I cannot hear the plugin during recording. Is there a solution to this? (my interface is a Presonus Audiobox)

set a short asio-buffer like 128 smpl in settings-audio

in your edit, when you click on an inputdevice on a track (at the left side, looks like an arrow), you get the properties in the propertiespanel at the bottom. there you should find something like "live input monitoring". activate it.

take care of feedbackloops, when using open mics and monitoring via speaker (headphones recommended).

tip: everytime you select some part of tracktion (inputs, tracks, plugins, clips, ...) you get the respective properties at the the bottom in the middle. look around in there, to find all the options you have when working in an edit.
