Suddenly got massive CPU overload in Tracktion 7.Windows 7 pro 64 bit i7 16gb ram.Edits that have previously been ok now won't play.The CPU cores to use are 8.has anyone any ideas,

Have you tried the usual with muting and maybe rendering?
Have you been following the tribulations of Mark Swanson? A Windows 10 update seems to have done something that's landed him with an unusable PC.

Don't see any reason to mute render or freeze an edit if it has been working ok up until yesterday.I'm misssing something somewhere.Even a song with relative few plugins has gone into amber,will probably email Tracktion,
