rewire between T6 and T3? Linplug question

So, I have had nearly every version of Tracktion since V1. Have T3 Ultimate Bundle, T4, T5 and been running T6 past couple of years. There are some bass synths in Cronox, and some drum kits I used to rely upon in RMIV that I can't use in T6.
Sooooo.....
Is it possible to run rewire over to an instance of T3 where I have Cronox and RMIV loaded, into my T6 projects? I've never tried ReWire (never had a need before) and just thought of this as I want to replace a wimpy kick in T6 with some meat.
Just curious. I will find a different solution for T6 if I have to; loads of samples of kicks, but haven't ever messed with loading my own kits.

You can't rewire T3 to T6, but just out of curiosity, i tried installing RMIV from the linplug legacy products page, and opening it in T7 32 bit. Seems to work. I've not got a license key for it, but it otherwise looks like it works.

The problem, though, is the RMIV license that came with Tracktion 3 was limited to being used in T3. I don't think the standard RMIV download will accept the license. I'm pretty sure it was a different download.chico.co.uk wrote:You can't rewire T3 to T6, but just out of curiosity, i tried installing RMIV from the linplug legacy products page, and opening it in T7 32 bit. I could be wrong, but even so, that license will only run in T3.

I think I'm all set, except for RMIV. I've recently downloaded Mdrummer free version, and that might be all I need at the moment. I'm not a big drum programming guru. Mostly use loops.
