Aiming for a public beta this year; we're definitely on the home straight now. I'm working my way through the a short list of outstanding development;

If anything I admire Colin's persistence with developing !Epoch - almost us much as I admire our persistence with Colin's development timeframe

Hello,
yes I am waiting since 2012,
!Epoch could be a very good addition to Numerology...
Is there a discount for us that we were waiting so long Collin?

As for demo limitations, I suggest administering a small electric shock every few minutes - enough to burn, hopefully not enough to kill. After all, you need to keep us alive long enough for the PayPal transaction to clear.
See? I'm full of helpful suggestions!

Hello, I'm pretty new to this thread (and big fan of Colin's plugins). Is there a post (in this thread or in the old one) where !Epoch is described? At least in generic terms? I have the feeling that this is going to be great, but please don't let me go into 27 pages of posts since 2014

It's a modular midi processing and sequencing toolkit. You connect together modules to build patches that sequence, process, and generate MIDI data. Some of the modules are very high-level - mono and polyphonic step sequencers, grid-based drum sequencers - and some are very low-level - mathematical operators such as sin(x) or addition. You also have the typical UI components so you can build an interface for your patch - sliders, buttons, combo-boxes - as well as more complex UI components such as array editors.
You can collect together groups of modules into sharable, reusable macros.
There is a big focus on modulation - practically anything can be modulated by wiring up a connection to it or via external devices such as MIDI controllers of your computer keyboard - and on live control and playback.
It is scriptable via lua, can run as either a plug-in or as a standalone app, and can host plug-ins itself if you'd prefer to mix inside.

Thanks Colin!!! Wow, that sounds exciting!
I hope that there will be space for MIDI algorithmic processing (I enjoyed and still enjoy Tim Thompson's keykit, do you know it?). According to your answers it should be possible..
Please add me to the list of people anxiously waiting for ... for ... ok, time to shut up

Sounds like it will be an excellent and comprehensive program
(And although I'm lucky enough to have a Cirklon, I prefer to leave it in the studio usually, so this new software sounds like a wonderful option when I'm on the road).

Everyone who posted in the other thread in 2012 should get an additional early adopter discount, or at least some kind of award for their patiencejue wrote:Hello,
