Hate to sound like a broken record, but... I know there are a few other Tracktioneers that own Trigger2 and the plugin doesnt work in T4,5,6 and 7 (works in T3). So if any of them upgrade to Waveform, try it and post back. I've been a Tracktion user since T2 and have tried to get the issue resolved. But the Tracktion and Slate support teams blame each others code. So let me know if it works, before I buy.

Why don't you just try the demo , but open a NEW project up with Slate Trigger2 and try it yourself ???? Xing my fingers for you my friend !

$60 solution would be to buy Reaper as a Slate Trigger 2 host and rewire it into Waveform instead of waiting for both companies to exit their infinite loop of finger pointing. Plus Reaper has a lot more to offer feature wise than almost every DAW available. Reaper is extremely deep/customize-able and is updated almost on a daily basis.

I have Reaper and Studio 1 and have been using Studio 1 for a while. But I just love the simplicity and workflow in Tracktion. I would love to dump the others and go back 100% to Tracktion. I will try the demo and see if it works. But unless its a total rework of the code, I dont see it working. Will not be able to try it till this weekend. Will post back.

The Waveform install is 3.1 GB .... I hate that the Collective / Sample library is rolled all into Waveform install ... I fooled with Collective and it's presets but honestly don't care to use it ... I have enough 3rd party stuff .... It's great for noobs that need sounds .... About the Slate Trigger 2 problem and Tracktion , in my opinion there should be some communication between Slate and Tracktion ( maybe there was ? ) ... I'd like for it to be resolved if you think about it all parties suffer BUT especially the customer ....

Im a huge Slate plugin fan and own almost all of them. I will submit another tech support ticket. I will mention how much money I threw at them over the years

But like I mentioned, they previously said its a Tracktion issue. Trigger 1 works fine, but 2 has more features I use.

Tried Trigger 2 with the demo and it severely crashed my daw rig. Usually it just crashes back to the desktop. But with Waveform it did the ole "blue screen of death" . Strange Trigger 2 works in Reaper and Studio One and in PT on my daw rig. But not in T4 , T5, T6, T7 and Waveform. Oh well. Saved me some money. Maybe by the time Waveform 12.0 comes out it will work
