After having the same login-trouble whole yesterday (with an account I use since T 2 without problems !!!) and writing some not very friendly words to support I get an email this night that they seem to have fixed it. I can now login with my (old) password, I have not tried to reset password, maybe that helps.

Well I am definitely glad to hear it is 32bit O/S compatible, I thought I might have to jump ship. Thanks for the info!pekbro wrote:Yes Win 32 bit versions are included, I didn't install them, pretty sure I saw them all though.sounddesigner wrote: Is Waveform compatible with Windows 7 32bit? Your website has no info on whether Waveform is 32bit O/S compatible or not and all I use is a 32bit system.

T2 Icarus is a must. SonicCore SCOPE is the most. As heart of studio it has my vote, cause XITE-1 is all she wrote.

Is Waveform any better optimised than Tracktion 7?

That's a good question because T7 was sluggish and buggy on OSX.aMUSEd wrote:Is Waveform any better optimised than Tracktion 7?

Hooray! My Waveform downloads are available on my account! Tip: There isn't a download for Collective because it's already included in Waveform when you install it.
Tried most of the software and included plugins out and the only issue I've had so far is that Collective keeps crashing when I try changing the settings. I'm sure all the bugs will be worked out soon enough; I'm more of a guitarist, so at least there's still the MIDI Composition Tools and the FX Synth for me to work with.
I also noticed there's a 30-day trial of the DAW Essentials collection and Biotech synth plugin which will be cool to work with; although, I don't see myself needing to purchase the Essentials collection anytime soon since I utilize many cool free plugins for the same uses. Still, having everything with the same Waveform look is tempting, lol.

Unfortunately I have found this to be the case, it glitches more than any other host now.dupont wrote:That's a good question because T7 was sluggish and buggy on OSX.aMUSEd wrote:Is Waveform any better optimised than Tracktion 7?

My experience with T7 on OSX and now MacOS is the opposite. It runs very smooth and is very cpu friendly. I am on a macbook air 2015, 4Gb Ram, 128 SSD, latest OS.
But right know, in Waveform, Collective is unusable. For some reason it freezes as soon as I try to change patches, or I get the rainbow ball for a long time.

T has never been reliable for me on OS X... I've continued to upgrade though I never use Tracktion due to stability problems. I quite like the featureset and have hoped for stability improvement with each upgrade...aMUSEd wrote:Unfortunately I have found this to be the case, it glitches more than any other host now.dupont wrote:That's a good question because T7 was sluggish and buggy on OSX.aMUSEd wrote:Is Waveform any better optimised than Tracktion 7?

Yeah it's a bummer - I really love Tracktion in so many respects but find myself having to get stuff done elsewhere.

Be sure to contact our support team if you have any problems - they are happy to help and can fix most issues. The only area we cannot always guarantee fixes is third party plugins - the biggest cause of instability - in most cases we can create workarounds but sometimes the plugin vendor themselves will need to fix issues in their code.
The log files built into the app can nearly always tell us what causes a crash so there is absolutely no need to put up with instability - simply contact us and we will work with you to identify the cause

I had to reset my password but now it's OK and I have tried Waveform and the plugins.
Collective is very great ! The DAW essentials plugins too ! So I'm tempted to upgrade from T7 to the Waveform Pack for 99$.
And you can use these plugins, including Collective, in other DAWs, so the plugins alone are worthwhile.
Mastermix and the FM Synth are now included by default in Waveform, but they are Tracktion plugins only.

It's not so much instability with particular plugins as a general glitchiness and lack of optimisation with pretty much all plugins - ie plugins that play smoothly in realtime in other hosts need a much larger buffer not to glitch in Tracktion now (and even then may still do so).TSC wrote:Be sure to contact our support team if you have any problems - they are happy to help and can fix most issues. Same statement here. I sent several requests to TSC but the lazzy UI refresh issue whith some plugins has never been solved. This plugins run smootly on other DAW, Reaper, Logic, Studio one ...aMUSEd wrote:It's not so much instability with particular plugins as a general glitchiness and lack of optimisation with pretty much all plugins - ie plugins that play smoothly in realtime in other hosts need a much larger buffer not to glitch in Tracktion now (and even then may still do so).TSC wrote:Be sure to contact our support team if you have any problems - they are happy to help and can fix most issues. After support sorted me out (my spam filter, duh...) I've bought and been trying out Waveform on OSX. Certainly a few poof-to-desktop crash issues with Collective (running it in the 32-bit version so far), but I have to say I'm impressed. The Collective sounds are generally very good. I can't see any easy button for external controller midi learn - (is this somewhere in the main program and I've forgotten where?) Electric pianos - always my first port of call - are fine, and there are some very playable 70s fusion leads. Basses are varied and colourful. The quick compositional aids are great, with lots of possibilities. The colour schemes are much easier to handle than in T7. So, if stability is sorted, I'm certainly very happy.
