That 'click' was the main issue I was trying to figure out.
My trouble is that I haven't a clue how to use a modular system!
I'm just guessing! :hihi:
I've only worked with presets and adjusted to suit, but I would love a proper drum synth like the ER-1 again, I found it so easy to use and it's limitations were extremely inspiring! :hyper:
You are correct, I would love to know the differences for connecting the Env to the Osc and Amp.
Thanks for the help, it's coming on nicely now :tu: :tu: :tu:
Ok, at least you understand what I write  :tu:
I do not know how to explain this English,I can only say that there is no need to connect the envelope to each oscillator.
Better to use the oscillator input for other things such as amplitude modulation:
oscillator out> audio to modulation converter > oscillator volume.

Connect the main envelope to the amplifier is the right thing to do,so you can control the end result through the amplifier,is the last link of the chain.

EG: oscillator> filter> amplifier>out
If you connect the envelope to the oscillator and after another envelope to the filter
you get something really ugly that sounds really bad.

I would suggest to watch this video, which can be 1:1 converted to MUX. Just use a sine oscillator instead of the self resonating LPFilter.
Have subtitles switched ON ;)

@ Taifunk:
Thanks for explaining, good job :tu:
Your english almost as good as Jo's   :tu:

@ Andreas:
Thank you for the link, I'll take a look :tu:

That gave me a challenge: Only sine and noise. 30min. start from scratch with no presets. didn't had to be perfect
Result attached.

Ok, ok! Just curious, do you have extra wide doors in your house for that big head? :hihi: :hyper:  :tu:

Oh nice one Taifunk, I'll check that out later :tu:

I'm starting to get somewhere, but I need to control massive spikes in volume automatically, can that be done within Mux?
:tu:

EDIT: Found part of the problem, modulating the Filter was spiking the volume.

Post

I've gone back to this to try and get it finished. I've added Ring Mod.

I've still got that issue with the Mod Speed knob. Basically, at certain settings this knob causes massive volume spikes which I can't seem to tame, even with a limiter. Is it due to the modulation cycles being too fast for audible hearing, or is there more to it?

Also, the ring mod can't be disabled by turning it off. Well, it can, but it allows the left input through. Is there a way to use an On/Off switch to disable the RM? Would be useful to have a module that allows audio through when on, but blocks it when off, which is essentially what is required here.

Thanks for your help :tu:

Well, I had to use a knob for the RingMod, can't figure out a way of getting it to work the way I want, so I added a balance module. I'd prefer a button if anyone has any ideas. :help:

I have no idea why the spiking is happening but it's related to a combination of settings regarding the parameters - Noise, Filter and ModSpeed. Again if anyone could help explain this I'd be greatful. ;-)

I'm also still looking into how to obtain Hats, Claps and Snares, advice would be appreciated.

The graphics are done for the Front Panel background.
There's a Step Sequencer there with a basic pattern to hear an example preset, you need to turn it on though.

So here's my next version for your perusal, hope it's of some use:

As KVR only allows 256KB uploads, I had to put the Knobs on my OneDrive account.
