I have FM Synth and Master Mix in my 'untagged' category of the plugin loader but when I try and insert them nothing happens. I can't see them in my VST directory, nor are they in the plugins list in settings, so where are the plugins so I can rescan them?
(Or are they not installed with the demo?)
Where are Waveform plugins installed?

OK that's what I thought - so how come they are in the 'untagged' list?

Unless you mean the proprietary Waveform plugins, which should be installed.

FM Synth and Master Mix are built in plugins. They should just 'work'. It's a bug they don't work from the tag menu, they do work from popup tree or popup menu. Or you can right click on plugin button and search for them.

Found them - they are both in the "Untagged' part of the plugin loader but if I try and load them from there they don't work. However I did a search for them in the sidebar and if I drag them from there they do load - weird. That being said I can't believe they charged for FM Synth, it's really very basic. And Master Mix is too tiny.
