Hi,
next problem with waveform/collective:
- I just use the new midi pattern tools and collective
- without any recognizable reason collective just "loose" the program I have chosen and is silent
- In collective the chosen program could still be seen in the preset window above but collective is just silent
- I am not sure if the midi pattern tools produce any program message, so I just deleted but that wont help
- apart from that what is very irritating that the chosen preset is not chosen in the right window, that jumps back to "802 synbas" evry time, chould show the last chosen preset (the one above)

I have the same issue. Collective just seems to stop working whenever it wants to. I can then select a new sound and it works again, but it seems to drop the program at random times.

Same problem here with Windows 10 laptop. Even the update 8.0.23 is doing it. Can't run Collective in Waveform for long without it losing its samples and then I have to reload them or disable then re-enable the track. Very annoying as Collective sounds good. Some nice guitar sounds that fit well in a mix.
Overall Waveform is nice. The new mixer is handy and the composition features are very useful - great for making quick parts or developing songs.

Yep , same here Windows10 , Collective sometimes doesn't load the patch , so I go to another one and it works , sometimes it freezes up and crashes Waveform , also some and many patches like the drum kits I get pops and clicks .... Collective would seem like a nice addition for Noobs but at the moment , I feel is really too buggy . I like Waveform though ....

I am the developer of Collective. Sorry for the problems you experience. Is it possible that one (or more than one) of you could send me a .tracktionedit file that exhibits this behaviour? It doesn't need to show it right away, I only need something that I can let run for a while until it shows the silenced output of Collective that you mention. Maybe it only happens with certain sounds or so. One track with Collective on it is also enough, no need to send a full project.

Hi Wolfram,
I have just sent a tracktion archive file to Roland cause of another bug with midi pattern preset changing. I have changed all instruments to collective to make it fully compatible for you to open, hope that will help, just ask Roland, I have sent it a few minutes ago.

I have not even realized that it is useable outside waveform like biotek
