Same for Repro-5 which we hope to showcase as well.toitoi wrote:Urs wrote:It was imminent in January, until we decided to improve some workflow features which were also planned for Z3. Poly Pressure yes. Otherwise we'll continue with per-channel controllers, which extends the concept to other plug-in formats and MPE.N__K wrote:Apologies if this has been asked before, but will Zebra3 support MIDI Poly Pressure and/or VST3 Note Expression for all parameters?
I think Note Expressions were made with Minimoog emulations in mind. I can't think of a clever way to handle 2000+ parameters in Zebra independently per note, without serious CPU overhead.

Speaking of which, will there be more harmonics editable in SpectroBlend in Zebra3?Urs wrote:It is available in Zebra2 too...
Zebra2 has 128 and it's not quite enough for sounds that are played low but also need treble harmonics. SpectroMorph can of course help there, but it'd be handy to have all 1024 harmonics individually editable.

It's something I'm about to lay out some time later this year. My idea is to go flexible in powers of 2 from 128 to 2048 harmonics, switching to 4096 sample size grains instead of 2048.N__K wrote:Speaking of which, will there be more harmonics editable in SpectroBlend in Zebra3?Urs wrote:It is available in Zebra2 too...

And hopefully, harmonics mode that don't result in a sawtooth when their amplitude is at maximum (1/1 volume ratio instead of 1/f)?

Sounds interesting! Will the partials be always arranged in harmonic series or can they be arranged inharmonically?Urs wrote:It's something I'm about to lay out some time later this year. For example, "one partial every 8 Hz"?

I'd like to be able to do this at some point...

I'm not sure if you are saying Repro-5 isn't likely for ever being released, or likely for eventual release. Not sure why you would show it off if you don't ever release it.

roflmao, there are so many similar things that I would love to be able to do as well. -sigh-Sound Author wrote:I'd like to be able to do this at some point...
(modulating the FM engines (or generators) comes to mind -- as well as just anything that can be changed with a mouse, rofl)

Yeah, possibly a remedy for that as wellEvilDragon wrote:And hopefully, harmonics mode that don't result in a sawtooth when their amplitude is at maximum (1/1 volume ratio instead of 1/f)?
