They are already included in v3.030, we've updated the installer with the fixes. The binaries are still the same so it's not really a new version number.

Cool, just downloaded the new version. Um, thinking about it, I never updated an installed version of S1 before. (My only update so far was from v2.x to 3.x, but I had sold it meanwhile, so it was a new install, anyway.) So, how does one update S1? Do I have to uninstall the old version first? Will the settings be overwritten with the default ones?

I simply installed the new version over the existing one. Works fine.

Yes, simply installing right over the old version will be fine! If you're on Windows, make sure to select the same VST folders though, otherwise you'll get different versions of Sylenth1 in different folders and you don't want that! ;)

Worked fine :)
Funny, some new skins look very good at first, but as soon as I want to actually use the synth, I go back to the 3.0 skin as it is easier on my eyes. Fonts seem to be bigger and clearer, for instance. The Apox skin for instance looks as if some dark transparent foil has been put over the GUI. When I switch back to the 3.0 skin, it is like the sun rises, everything is open and clear again.

I still like the Lance Thackeray skin the best. Each to his like. :) The default skin is pretty nice too indeed.

I only use the 3.0 and classic ones, the rest are too bad on my eyes.

Are the skins the only thing that has changed?

The VU meters serve a purpose. The lights on top are a bit much but Apox is the new default skin for Sylenth 1 here.

The Apox skin looks awesome......if you have a proper monitor...... :wink:

Wow, nobody talked about the new presets... :P
I just updated, the new presets are incredible, since I'm more a trance guy, I'm in love with the presets by ferry corsten, benno de goeij (rank1), armin, schulz, matt laws (binary finary), sean tyas, 7 skies, bart claessen and airbase!
But I liked the others artists too, till the steve aoki ones...

Funny enough I remember meeting Matt Laws in a music shop in Poole once...was in the early days using Ableton to DJ. But htat was about 16-7 years back!
