Hi everyone, we’ve just uploaded the first updates to Waveform and Collective as public betas. These address the most critical and common problems reported since launch. Feel free to grab them and give them a test drive. We’re hoping to make these a full public release very soon.
You can find the builds in your “My Downloadable Products” page under the “archives” link for each product. Please note that for the time being you can download the Waveform only and Collective only installers rather than the full 3GB bundle installers.

- Improved loading speed of plugins with lots of parameters (Collective)
- Fixed a crash loading some AU plugins
- Fixed Rack window scaling on Windows
- Fixed an issue where Master Mix and FM Synth couldn’t be added to a track from the tagged plugin menu
- Fixed broken characters on Japanese when using monospaced font
- Pattern generator now takes offset into account
- Improved the file-based plugin preset list structure to follow directory structure

- Fixed possible crash while loading.

- Fixed an issue where the plugin would become locked if changing between architectures on Windows (unfortunately will require you to unlock once more)
- Fixed possible stuck notes with mono sounds in some hosts.
- Added load progress bar.
- Reduced load time of multisamples.
- Fixed Pitch Bend and Modulation Wheel movements not shown in editor.
Please let us know if any of these above mentioned issues are still present and we’ll get on them right away.

Just tested with Kore 2 and Komplete Kontrol - so far not crashing 
z3TA AU plugin - is playing sound
great work!
Now please just add some optimisations cpu wise, auto creation of automation lanes and support for vstpresets (and proper folder nesting for aupresets) then we're done

The folder nesting for aupresets should be done in this build?

Not just yet. There's still very few plugins which are VST3 only (only a few Steinberg ones as far as I can tell) and VST3 adoption in hosts has been slow. Very quick test of beta 8.0.24 64-bit on OSX: Collective (VST) loads much faster, but I had two poof crashes to desktop when changing patterns: first to a bass patch and the second to the J.Wolfe piano.

Hi !
A lot of things have been solved here with this new Waveform version, but I still have a big problem with my Arturia AU plugIns (AnalogLab) crashing the Waveform beta 8.0.24 (64 bit) Mac version.
I've sent an email to the TSC support with the respective Waveform.log attached to the mail.
I ask also to them to have a look on an annoying little problem in the actual Collective plugin (AU and VST versions) : the Collective plug memorise the selected preset, but the GUI don't memorise the selected "words" choices previously done when you close and re-open the GUI (kind of instrument, mood, etc...), like all the plugs do.
I hope this will be corrected, because it is not essential, but it is really very useful for the users...
And... congratulations to the great job done by the TSC technical team in a so little time !

On OSX,
Why can I hear the recorded notes but can't see them on the midi editor ?
Why can't I find collection on the plugin browser ?
Is it because Waveform is in demo mode ?

The changes to preset navigation (following folder structure) are great, huge improvement.

Hi Dupont !
- 1. I had the same interrogation you have the first time I recorded some MIDI notes in a Waveform track...
The fact is that when you open the MIDI editor, it don't open at the exact position of your recorded midi notes. So if you want to see them, you have to move up/or down the virtual keyboard existing in the midi editor... till they appears, in their recorded position...
I don't know if this is your case, but it was mine...
-2. Once you have made a new setting on your plugins setting page, if you selected here the "pop up menu" in the plugin selector field, when you are on the edit page selecting the "plugin browser", the Collective plugin is grouped with the Synths.
