Exponential Audio's R2 Reverb FREE this month!

That is pretty amazing. I was thinking of getting a high-end algo reverb to go with the excellent Reveberate and Verbsuite so this should be perfect. I only found out recently that the founder of EA was one of the main designers behind Lexicon PCM. Just be aware that it needs hardware iLok: "you must have iLok 2 or iLok 3 hardware (USB key)".

If you are thinking of getting an iLok for this then I'd seriously consider the Slate Digital Subs which comes with a free iLok and it's on offer this week only for $149. So in effect you get Slate Everything for a year for ~$100. And Exponential Audio's R2. Sweet!

Which PCM's?

It was mentioned in SOS "As one of the men behind Lexicon’s revered PCM series, founder Michael Carnes has few peers when it comes to developing digital reverb algorithms"

It contains:
Venus Symphonic Women's Choir
Voice of Gaia: Bryn
Cymbology
Drinking Piano
Steel Tones
This is crazy. Venus and Bryn are best of the best for choir vocals and male solo. Drinking Piano makes your inner Tom Waits come out. Cymbology and Steel Tones are great for film and soundscapes. Crazy price indeed.
I agree. I already have Venus and Drinking Piano. I paid more than the bundle for Venus and this one alone is worth it at this price. This is an amazing choir! I also like the sound you can get out of Drinking Piano, it's unique and original.

Yes.
Is it also possibile to upgrade from Music Production Bundle 2 to RX Advanced? The only upgrade to RX advanced I can find on your site are from RX 1-4 advanced or RX 1-5 Standard

Post

Good question. I'll ask.

I sent you a pm earlier :)

I don't think this was mentioned yet but I just spotted that there's a 50% discount on the Arturia V Collection 5 for registered Pro Tools users (including the free version). Valid until May 3rd.

I have almost all of the Izotope products, I'm signed up for all their newsletters, I check my spam folder every day, and I STILL never get any emails from Izotope. Literally one of the only companies that I actually WANT their newsletter.

Whats the deal with this q clone? Is it useful without any hardware? I know it comes with a library, plus a few out there appears to be some good packs out there.

I got a preset collection from somewhere for it. It supposedly imitates a bunch of the different EQ machines, but you don't actually need one to use it.

I've had it for a while but really haven't played with it enough to know how good it is. The reviews from when it first came out were pretty good.

Uncle E, Any left over of Last XLN sale stuff?

It allows you to clone the response of a device. It won't capture non-linearities though. It was a much bigger deal in days gone by. If you had a limited number of hardware EQs and you wanted to use a particular response on something then you could clone that setting with this tool, use the plugin instead of the hardware, then your hardware was free for other duties.
