collective not working in waveform

i just purchased waveform (the 99 upgrade bundle)and when i try to load collective into a track the vst display is a small box consisting of an x to close, and another icon. also by the track there is an exclamation point. ihave the input set right. any solutions?

Try grabbing the Collective 1.0.3 beta from your downloads area (don't worry, it's a small download) and installing that. There's a lot of fixes for Collective in there.

downloaded the beta and opened in 64 bit and it said plugin error. tried re scanning all of my plug ins and it said biotek, and collective had error in scanning(along with about 30 other plugins.) i am going to switch to a mac this saturday. is there less problems on that format? (i mean in general, not tracktion/waveform in particular.)

The scanning errors you're seeing might just be that it's finding 32-bit plugins and can't read them. Although annoying, they should be harmless (this is on our list of things to look in to though).

Do Collective and BioTek actually appear in the Plugins list?
Can you load them in a track if they do?

i re downloaded the whole program and everything worked.i am definately moving to the mac environment tomorrow.
