Didn't Brexit just go into effect? If VAT is EU you may not have to pay it anymore.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Weirdly I didnt get charged any VAT at Plugin Alliance,
might be worth checking if this normally holds you back, like me.

No, Britain has just started the official Brexit negotiations. Who knows when those will be finished, but my guess is not before the end of the year.dzilizzi wrote:Didn't Brexit just go into effect? That has been discussed before -> Just send them an email (like I did) and you'll be added to the "coupon-email-list"nicksohn wrote:Why some people get PA voucher, while i don't get any?

Perhaps Angie has secretly started the exit-negotiations.Nobdi wrote:That has been discussed before -> Just send them an email (like I did) and you'll be added to the "coupon-email-list"nicksohn wrote:Why some people get PA voucher, while i don't get any?

No, wait a minute, the VAT-generator really seems to be out of order...

I have one of the monthly PA vouchers. Last month some people were posting a code that gave $50 off a greater than $100 spend. Anyone know of such a code for this month?

The last 2 months I got 25$, this time 10$. They explained that they are trying to sell plugins for less with vouchers with less value.Lazylefteye wrote:I have one of the monthly PA vouchers. Great hint. I actually prefer the vol 2, but all in all, god selection of Mellotron sounds.Fleer wrote:Love this library. There's also Newmello-II. 30% off costing $14,7

Inspired to watch few Youtube clips, the below lfrom 1965. Could the presentation be more British?
This is not M400 which wasn't launched before 1970, but Mk II.
Hard to imagine, only next year, after this clip, Strawberry Fields got its special flawor from the same instrument, which was originally ment to use in cabares etc. for "lounge music" or "one man orchestra".

That was from their facebook page. It doesn't work anymore, it was out there for several months. I don't know if there's a replacement.

Hang on, they might throw a new one out when they have the Easter sale. They made one for last month too which was different to the abandoned cart one I put up.Lazylefteye wrote:I have one of the monthly PA vouchers. "dabacle" ? - I have a 2.xx version flying around somewhere but never really came to seriously testing it ... - what was wrong with v3 ? - all the reviews I can remember had been quite positive as far as I can remember ?!?GreyLion wrote:...I've held off getting it after the debacle that was MixBus 3,....

I quit following it after awhile. Widespread crashes, freezes, inability to load lots of VSTs, etc. There was an initial burst of enthusiasm for it, then lots of bug reports, then the forum became a ghost town.Nobdi wrote:"dabacle" ? - I have a 2.xx version flying around somewhere but never really came to seriously testing it ... - what was wrong with v3 ? - all the reviews I can remember had been quite positive as far as I can remember ?!?GreyLion wrote:...I've held off getting it after the debacle that was MixBus 3,....
Some people had a smoother experience, of course. I quit when I couldn't get JamStix and a few synths, don't remember which, to load.
I *think* they supposedly got it stabilized pretty well sometime around version 3.6x.
The consensus that I kept reading was that it was still an awesome mixing tool. People talked about importing audio tracks from their DAWS and having a great experience. The sound is inherently colored, in a way that I and a lot of others loved.
I'm demoing v4 now and not having fun. But that may just be me. I may have gotten spoiled by Reaper. YMMV. And for $40, I suppose it would still be worth it strictly as a mixer.
And they do have a demo now, so you can test for yourself before spending money. One of the things that thoroughly pissed off people during v3 was that they refused to post a demo and gave some really lame justifications that were obviously about getting their hands on your money. Lost a lot of cred.
