T5 isn't opening, any ideas why?

I've got a free copy of T5, had it for a couple of months now. The other day it simply stopped opening. I was using it earlier in the day, then a few hours later, when I tried to open it, the initial loading box would appear for a second (saying 'initialising', etc.) then immediately disappear, and the program would stop booting. I restart my computer, uninstall/reinstalled T5, re-downloaded/reinstalled from the Tracktion website, nothing, it's just not opening. Anybody else have this problem? Anyone know how I might solve it?
Thanks
PS. If I'm in the wrong place here, do let me know, I'm new to this

There's a log file that might have information on why it's failing. Knowing your OS will help people point you to it. On Windows it's in something like...
<user>/AppData/Roaming/Tracktion
Note that the AppData folder is a hidden folder.

Surely there must be consensus by now...

It usually means the settings file has gotten corrupt.
Press Windows Key + R
Type %APPDATA%
Hit enter
Find the folder named Tracktion 4 and rename it Tracktion 4.old

Thanks, that's fixed the problem and now it's opening, you're a life-saver. However, in trying to re-open all my old projects, they load into T5, but then when I try to open an edit, they all say 'can't find the source file'. I've not moved any of the files, so I'm not sure why this would be happening.

I reloaded all the edits/audio files manually, which was pretty annoying, would have thought that the software would be able to do that automatically. Not even an option, once I'd 'found' one source file, to 'search for other missing files in this location' or similar. But at least I don't need your help anymore. Tracktion should have remembered the audio file associations, are you sure you loaded the Projects back in and not just the Edit files?
There is a simpler way to re-associate files with Projects however, if you select the Project form the "Projects" tab and click the "Find Lost Files..." button there is a wizard that should re-associate all the files in the project.

Okay, that sounds helpful. I'll be needing the advice, as well, because the program stopped working again. The same '.old' fix worked, but I'm back to where I was.
I don't suppose there's any way for me to figure out the root cause and stop it happening again and again, if there isn't I may have to abandon T5 as a DAW.

Here's what the log file says for when I tried to start it up today. Any clues? I notice it says 'error', but can't think how I'd fix that (can't think how the first one, concerning sample rates, would even cause it to not work).
