I think going to that gear fest would be very dangerous to my wallet LOL!

But it does look like fun and if you tell your sales specialist about things you are looking for they will let you know if any of it is on sale. The discounts can be really good.

I got Dark Planet and Hypnotic Dance, so for me it is very usable

It will be held at SweetWater Campus. I thought SweetWater was a franchise, didn't realize they had something like that, is that their "gold base" ?

Wait so the Halion Sonice SE doesn't come with any sounds or anything?? I don't understand it comes with a default library but I cant figure out how to load it lol GG! aww ok thanks. i was looking at the comparision it must only come with sounds with Cubase version.

You can load all of the Cubase integrated sounds. I did it for Cubase 8.5 and it replaced the already installed Halion Sonic.

Pity it doesn't at least come with the Motif sounds that Cubase users can access but not people who bought the full Halion.

Yep, but, I believe that's only for cubase owners.

worth checking your soundtoys account direct to see what upgrade price they'll give if you already have any of their plugins (even if you got them for free).

I just had the freebies they did for Sie-Q and Tremolator and they offered an upgrade to the whole bundle for $169 in this spring promo.

Yeah, I noticed the bargain pricing AFTER buying EchoBoy LOL, but, even though it was still a bit cheaper, it's still not cheap enough for me really. EchoBoy was the only plugin from them that I really wanted. Sure, it would have been less per plugin. But, $170 is quite a bit more than $50.
