Plugins not working in Waveform (lots) [Fixed]

1) I don't have any NI hardware, are there any other plugins which present the same problem which I can easily get a hold of to test? Could you also post or send us via support a recent log file so we can see what is happening? This has to be form v8.0.23 as we increased the level of our logging in it.

2) I'm looking in to why Sinevibes Torsion doesn't produce any sound.

I already emailed you a logfile - it only affects NI stuff that interfaces with their hardware, but you can test without it easily enough because it still accesses the NI Hardware service even if it's not using it (I know because Komplete Kontrol does this even though I don't have the keyboard that goes with it, and so does Kore even when unplugged). Plus T7 doesn't have this problem so see what you changed that could cause something like this. Sandboxing maybe?

Anyway so you should be able to test with Komplete Kontrol which is free.

Torsion is just one example - so far it's all AU instruments I have tried it with that have no sound.

Hi !

This afternoon trying all my AUi PlugIns in WaveForm...

--> Komplete Kontrol from NI (Komplete 11 here)
Takes a long time to trying to open (the spinning colored apple ball)...
Then, when its try to open, it crashes WaveForm. Each time.
It is the only PlugIn I have which do that (I'm not talking about hardware... just software : the opening of the AU plug)
- All the other AU plugs from NI are ok.

--> Addictive Keys from XLN Audio
it opens. The GUI is ok (faders move, etc...), BUT... no sound !

--> AnalogLab and AnalogLab 2 from Arturia
identical to the Addictive keys AU plugin.
The AU plugin opens. The GUI is ok. You can move faders, change "different" pages inside the plugin and so on, BUT... no sound !

--> All my other AU Soundware PlugIns are ok in WaveForm...
... for the moment !...

Note : all my AU PlugIns including these one runs ok in T 7.2.1...

TSC team... my 2 cents...

I noticed Waveform only enables the first audio output pair out of the 16 on my plugins that use Plogue's ARIA engine (Sforzando, Garritan Personal Orchestra). However, Sampletank 3's multi outputs work perfectly fine.

Both the issues originally reported here with AUs and NI hardware plugins have been resolved in Waveform 8.0.25.
(Issues with PPG and Largo moved to the problem plugins thread).
