With the greatest respect, please explain how this is fine...mutools wrote:That way even a small front panel in a wider window (due to the top controls) will still look fine.

Again: Your background pic must match the front panel size. If you change the front panel size then you will have to update your background pic too, otherwise it will be stretched and you might get mismatches, which is logical.

If you simply want to add some extra space to an existing front panel with a back pic, then also add that same extra space to the back pic. The back pic size must be equal to the front panel size otherwise the pic will be resized to match the front panel size.

Bingo!
And we're back to my original question...
What is the minimum width requirement to avoid stretching a picture?
If you do not know, then it would be wiser to say so!

No you haven't. I required a numerical value. You have not stated a numerical value. Nor did you tell me where to find it
But... It was my oversight that was causing the issue!
Please accept my apologies.
I forgot to check the front panel's properties that show it's size!
I am currently editing my picture to the size stated in this dialogue window, is that the correct procedure?
I still think you should change it to be resizeable as any other front panel component would be. It seems odd that you can't do this. Is it too much hassle to change it?
This is the process I've had to take to make the picture:
Not having a dig, btw, just saying.
Thank you for your patience

This is the process I've had to take to make the picture:
- Screenshot the manual
- Edit this screenshot to reduce size to match the current knob size on front panel
- re-edit to add padding

Thank you for your patience

About the 2 crashes: Please add as many details as possible: What were you doing? What were your last actions just before the crash?

About the first crash:
As far as i can see the first crash is not inside MuLab but in some unknown module.
About the second crash:
Please also post the Windows crash report for the second crash.
