Hmmm, sounds reasonable, to make it more "fair", I'll try to remember it .

I was very disheartened given the sheer amount of work that went into that song. Every sound save the tines is literally made out the original stems. The MIDI sequencing to create strumming alone was insane and the lack of being allowed to use a sampler made the project incredibly tedious.

Personally I thought Rob Urquhart should've won be he also didn't place which was a surprise.

I'm in for this months 'kick' challenge (if I make it to the final cut that is...) - should be interesting to see what people can make out of a single kick sample

Another poster commented on not having any Melda instruments, and they would be very useful for some of the competitions, (Step Saturn certainly puts them to good use), but it's more of a creative challenge to do without them. Apart from the free mFX, the only paid ones I have are mmultiband dynamics, mmultiband delay, mreverb, and mrhythmizer... But, the only thing I really miss is a sampler (Vojtech, if you're listening...)

Hehe, well, sampler is planned, for MYYY, but that will take long time...
