Enjoying this one a lot, i´m wondering what the side-chain input is for. Sounds like an envelope follwer on the bit depth but there´s no way to adjust it?
And maybe related, what does the synchronization panel do?

I clicked the little question marks but not much help there, is there a manual?

The MeldaProduction user manuals (available on each product's web page) are a consolidation of the pop-up Info windows.
Globals panel
Side-chain button activates the side-chain input. When enabled, the processor doesn't analyze the regular input and uses the secondary input instead.
So, for me, it's just an alternative input.

Sync panel? I'm not sure.

PS If you hover over many of the controls and press F1 (or Ctrl+F1) you'll see a pop-up Info window too.

Thanks for the quick reply, indeed i´ve missed that button on melda´s page.

Reading the whole pdf clears it up a lot :dog:

That doesn´t work for me (neither does ctrl+h) in Bitwig on Win7.

Does Bitwig need to be told to pass on all keyboard input to the plug-in?

Can you try it in another host?

Not sure, changing values and names inside the plugin works though.

Working as expected with reaper and unused shortcuts.

Same info as the question mark offers so it doesn´t really matter.

The sidechain lets the plugin perform the bit operations not by input * input, but input * sidechain (where * is each bit op).
The keyboard stuff is sort of a neverending issue, depends on the host and OS...

Thanks again, i really didnt think this through.

What about the synchronization panel though?

It's a different way of specifying the delay, and uses the host's tempo. it overrides any 'Delay' value.

So, "1/4 Straight" at 120 bpm = 500ms.
