Does Waves ever offer WUP upgrades on sale? My music buddy is on MAC Os and the cost for him to WUP Aphex Exciter to current so that it will work with his version of Mac OS is the same as it cost to buy the plugins in new. Any tips on how to reduce WUP costs are appreciated.

Nevermind lol. You have to do it through the custom shop app. Also everyplugin really seems to have the best prices, I don't thin I've seen them cheaper elsewhere. I don't know about wup though.

Has someone gotten that Free Metallipack for amplitube custom shop to work? I registered and Downloaded Amplitube custom shop and installed it but when I try to get Metallipack for free it always says it's $55. I can't find it in custom shop though only on the website. Not sure if I'm missing a step. Also everyplugin really seems to have the best prices, I don't thin I've seen them cheaper elsewhere. I don't know about wup though.

I just bought like, 6 of the already discounted plugins from Waves directly at their website, AND got up to an additional 40 percent off a couple of plugs, AND was able to use the 10 percent off coupon STILL. The only downside is Waves charges sales tax (8 percent for Texas). But still, I ain't complaining. The other discount houses are good for 1 or 2 plugs but anything over 3 should be done thru Waves. I saved an additional 90 dollars that way

Here's my picks for gems in the sale bunch: API250 (no brainer), NLS (no brainer), H-Delay (if you don't have EchoBoy Jnr), DBX160, Saphira (unique, subtle but superb), API 560, MaxxBass (never been cheaper I think), RS56, Scheps 73.

Bass Rider is a no-brainer. A simple plugin that does a hard job perfectly for less than what I spend on coffee every week.

I'm very tempted by Waves Tune Real-Time for $36. I've been playing with the trial version. It seems cheap for what it does and how recently it was released.

J37 is better, neither is the best, IMO.
