No the step sequencer has no record function.
It does have a lot of functionality, see http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mux/mu ... -sequencer

Try to use the sequence player module ,
load the module>create a new sequence> right-click in the sequence/note editor and choose the "step recorder",in this way you can record the sequence, otherwise you can also import an already recorded sequence/midi file.

Is there a way of sequencing front panel parameters, that's the reason I requested the step sequencer.
I know about midi CC control, but I think there should be an extra button here to allow direct control of any mux parameter.
For example if I want to sequence the feedback from a delay.
When you map a midi controller you get the option to select which parameter that CC will control. There should be a similar option within the step sequencer.
Thanks

Read this page under Midi Recording:

Read this page under Step Sequencer, and Event Recorder:
https://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mux/m ... dules.html
So, you 'midi record' with a controller (or enter with a mouse) your notes/chords/pattern input on one track, and then 'event record' the sequencer/arp output on a second track.
This is the simplest rack/mux: 1. Step sequencer, to a track; 2. Event Recorder, to a subtrack; 3. Synth.
