Mark favourite patches?

Is there a way to mark the patches that you really want to use in Collective?
I'ts very time consuming to wade through all the patches every time, to find those that actually suit your music.

There's no direct way from within Collective to do this at the moment but you could save your favorite presets to the Waveform browser? (Use the "Save" button in the properties panel with Collective selected).

I just tried that but I can't see it show up anywhere in the browser.

It shows up under Search / Presets in the Waveform browser, after you save it.

I can save it but it doesn't show up anywhere in the browser. I tried adding a style to it but that didn't show up either.

I just tested the workflow and it seems to work here. Can you try the following:
1. Add Collective to a track
2. Open the UI and load a preset (I used "Abacab")
3. Close the UI and ensure Collective is selected so it shows in the properties panel
4. Click the "Save" button next to the preset and enter a name (I used "Collective: Abacab", I also added "Collective" next to "Plugin" as a tag). Click "OK".
5. Open the "Search" side panel. Click the magnifying glass and ensure you have "Preset" ticked
6. You should see "Collective: Abacab" listed as a preset and also be able to filter directly to it by clicking the "Collective" tag in the cloud at the top
Let me know if that sorts it for you.

Ah, the side panel. I didn't think of it, as I had hidden it. I thought it would show up in the Collective browser.
Yes, it does show up in the side panel. But how do you apply it from the side panel to your track?

Just drag it to a track (plugins area) to create an instance of Collective with that preset.
You can also drag the "P" that is shown on the plugin icon near the bottom of the search panel with the preset selected to an existing instance of the plugin to just apply that preset to the plugin.
Alternatively, you can use the "Load" button to load these presets if you have Collective selected.

Thanks. I already had an instance of Collective, so that's why dragging from the side panel caused double instances.
Well, anyway, this is definitely a workable solution to the problem with too many patches to wade through.
