These simple changes would help a lot.
1) When the folder has been analyzed and the results are shown, allow deleting individual files from the results. It's fairly common to have a few samples that have been wrongly categorized, and the only way to fix it is to go back and change the keywords and start the scan over.
Changing the keywords can have the drawback of some desired samples being missed to remove others. Selecting and deleting the offending samples would easily overcome this issue. Even better if we can click on the file to audition it, and browse with the arrow keys to quickly check the results.
(and if this isn't already possible, NOT before a keyword would exclude those files)
2) Keyword presets.
Samples from different companies can have much different naming schemes and require changing the keywords quite a bit (NI vs. Wave Alchemy vs. an acoustic kit etc.). All that careful work is lost as soon as the keywords are changed for a different scan. The default Melda keywords are also gone for good once changes have been made. Naming presets would make the process faster and more accurate.
*P.S. Not related to scanning, but being able to reverse the snare and clap mapping in a kit would be helpful. Snare and clap are largely interchangeable in electronic music and when previewing kits with existing MIDI it would be easier to find a suitable kit.
