Applying a pattern as a chord preset doesn't yield the expected results if the pattern doesn't start on the downbeat och notes extend to the next bar och the chords are less than a full bar in length.
Also, if you copy a paste notes from another midi pattern to the chord pattern, they will not end up on the right beat sometimes.

Hi,
The chord presets are expected to be one bar long and start at the start of the bar. Can you post a screenshot of the pattern you are trying to create? I'll see if there is a way to work around the issue.

The pattern looks like this:
And the result is this:
It makes sense that the notes are cut off at a chord change. But after that it derails completely.
Note that the chord rythm in the first screen dump is from a major hit song. I agree that it's not a good fit for the chord sequence below but two bar chord rythms are defenitely required if you are going to make some serious music.

I retested with the song's original chords. It actually works with a two bar chord rythm if the changes are at the bar ends. It's when the chords are shorter than a bar that throws it off.
Chord rythm: Result: It cuts off the chords that cross the chord change. This is correct. You don't want the previous chord still sounding after the change.
Well, actually, in the original song, the chord change happen an eighth before the downbeat. The pattern generator REALLY needs to handle chords that are longer than one bar. This song's structure isn't possible, as it is now.
