I can thoroughly recommend shagging to Legendary Pink Dots music.

Wooly, you got talent man. I don't know what kinda stuff you're workin' on but I'd venture to say Rap is in yo blood bro. Daizo, you just ain't heard the good stuff. My personal fave is Paul Van Dyk. Now there's a truly talented Club artist. If you get the chance, check out his 'Out There And Back' album. It's about as good as it gets in the Club genre.

Speakin to the gay thing...I don't have any such hang ups. This is the new millennium, welcome to it.
I have gay friends, one I work with in fact. He's cool. I even went bar hoppin with him and his friends one night just to show him I was OK with it. Doesn't make me gay anymore then he going to straight bars makes him straight.

Ah right; some of your best friends are gay. Of course...

Some of my worst enemies are gay like my manager who thought I'd go along with his bullying and favouritism at work cos I'm gay. He and the deputy manager, a straight woman, tried to f**k over some of the staff (gay & straight) because we wouldn't suck up to them. We wouldn't go along with his unprofessional behaviour or put up with his laziness and lack of support.
Well I've just told him to stuff his job and got a new one. I had my leaving do tonite! Wayhay! So you know what he did? He tried to refuse me the last of my annual leave before I left and referred me to occupational health because he claims he is 'concerned' that I am suffering stress. The c**t!
Good thing I've grassed the bastard up to my doctor so the shit will hit the fan very soon. All in a days work in the fuckin' NHS!
When I'm in the gym on the treadmill it's his face I'm stomping on...

I prefer exercising to some Coltrane: arm up, drain the martini, repeat.

wavemeister, welcome to KvRwavemeister wrote:At the risk of sounding like Richard Simmons, I highly recommend excercizing to Club music. Each morning and evening I speed walk around my block (about a mile) to several favorite Club tracks. It not only helps me keep my middle-aged spred at bay but it gets my ass motivated into doing it in the first place. (I hate excercise). Another advantage to this is it really helps me to key into all the nuances of a track thus giving me ideas for my own material. I find that 120-125BPM is around the perfect tempo for speed walking. Any faster than this and you begin to look like a Roadrunner cartoon.
it's a good idea, especially having the right tempo and something to occupy the rest of your brain while doing something useful but potentially boring
bicycling is also good, if you have safe roads or sidewalks for it ... low-impact ... "legs are the second heart"
I'm not sure there's ever a time for spandex these days ... it's not a matter of straight or gay, there are just some guys who enjoy wearing spandex and even shaving their legs because it makes them feel aerodynamic
but too often, people who wear spandex are competing for microseconds, whereas a truly majestic athlete would leave them in the dust with hairy legs and wearing burlap

I know what you mean about some people of narrow perspective and meager ethics who assume some kind of implied "gay solidarity" and try to take advantage of it

I should really look into getting one of those compact flash based MP3 players. I run 5 days a week, but only to the beat of my own heart.
It seems though, that I'd rather listen to something more peaceful for some reason... like Mozart or laid back jazz. That thumpin' club music tends to just irritate me, like Television. In your face, shallow and blunt. It's bad enough trying to maintain consistent pacing while running than to have some massive four-on-the-floor kick drum track pounding into me.
