After LittleOne 3.0 it will be time for a major IronAxe upgrade (including cross-platform support, etc...). And further, analogue synth modeling will back with something even better than a "Dub-37"...kylie wrote:you can have my blessings once you confessed you're already prototyping the Dub-37 and start doing the dsp part right after the release of LO3

awaiting the upgrade from iron axe to hyper power chain saw as well. don't make me wait for the "Uber-Dub 37" for too long, though
Edit: this happens to be my post #303 here at KVR. is this a sign from above, by any chance?

Hey Jeremiah,JerGoertz wrote:Just a friendly bump; any news?
sure, I'm basically waiting for a reply from all Distributors (there will be a slight price change, and also an update of the product's infos is required - like the cross-platform compatibility for example). Once they give their ok and their servers/web pages will be updated too, I'll release LittleOne version 3.0

"Dub37" was just an hypothetical name Kylie used to suggest a "Moog Sub 37" emulation for the future, after LittleOne.
I just stated that another analogue modeling is effectively in the way here, but it is only in the VERY first development stages and will NOT be a Moog Sub 37 emulation.

Hi,
ok, as promised, we finally have an estimated (but very realistic) release date : May 2017 !
I'll be more specific within the next few days ( or maybe hours ? ).
By the way I would like to hear from you about the installation process.
What do you prefer ?
It is better to have a full installer or a much simpler folder with a few files to copy/paste into your system's plugins folder ?
I noticed that with LittleOne version 3.0 , it is more simple to manually copy/paste files (as apple/mac teaches) , since a small number of files are involved with LittleOne version 3.0 installation.
This would also assure also a cleaner installation and a continuity beetween Windows and macOS (OSX).
Please let me know, it could be an open discussion about "What is the best installation system ever?" that goes beyond this specific software...
So ?
EDIT:
I just picked up an old thread I started here at Kvraudio in 2013. Poll results are very interesting :
