Strange. Where are those servers? I can download stuff from India and Brazil without problems, so why would there be any problem downloading stuff from Europe (where I am) or the US, where I assume most servers are located?
Well, whatever the problem is, if it does not go away soon, I will dump Mulab.

Well, I'm from (NW-)Europe too and Jo is from Belgium so that shouldn't be a problem.
Did you try using VPN?
Edit: maybe you recently updated your Antivirus? Try disabling the web-shield temporarily.

I don't know anything about VPN. And I don't feel like making any special effort just in order to make a normal download, frankly...zxant wrote:

Never mind, I will try one last time a couple of days from now...

Some newer browsers (like Opera) have a built-in VPN service. With that you can choose a different 'home server'.
Also see my tip about the antivirus.

Yes, I had tried that, made no difference.Calum wrote:I don't know if this has been suggested but have you tried clearing the browser cache? That has worked for me in the past.

Yes, but Fluffy as long as you persist to simply say "It is necessarily on the server side" without trying all the advices we suggest to you... you don't progress at all in the diagnostic. I have suggested you to try to disable momentarily your firewall (and firewalls if they are several, and without forgetting those potentially built-in the modem). Did you? No. You just replied quickly that it is just impossible. We have suggested you to try from other browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, the old IE, etc). Did you?fluffy_little_something wrote:I don't know anything about VPN. And I don't feel like making any special effort just in order to make a normal download, frankly...zxant wrote:

We have suggested to try from another place close to your home. Did you?
We suggest you to try with a VPN (a free one, simply to make some tests for one or two hours on this download issue). Will you?
Honestly I'm not sure...
Each time we suggest you to make tests you reply that it can be only on the server side that the issue has its origin.
No my friend, it is not that way that one makes a diagnostic for an issue in the dialogs between a server side and a client side. It is by doing the experiments that we suggest you.
With respect and friendship, you should reconsider strongly the way you receive our suggestions.

Listen, I simply asked if there was something wrong with the download and explained why I asked.
I am most definitely not in the mood for investing any additional time and effort into this matter.
If downloading Mulab does not work for me the way it should, but downloading other DAW's does, so be it...
I will not download any additional browsers (tried two, same result) or VPN programs, I will not disable my AV or firewall, etc.

New M7.3.20 available in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/mulab
What's new:
First make sure you already have installed the complete M7.3 package.
Then:
Windows: Put the new .exe and .id files into the M7.3 installation folder.
MacOS: Put the new .app file into the M7.3 installation folder.
What's new:
- New "Frequency Spectrum Analyser" module.
- Modular areas: When connecting modules, now the dragged connection snaps to the closest connectable jack. That's more comfortable.
- Doubled the maximum supported screen width from 4096 to 8192 pixels.
- Sequence Editor: Improved behavior wrt automatic mouse tool selection while hovering notes.
- Text string fields: Sometimes the selection was not indicated when it should. Fixed.
- Both the MultiMode Filter as the TF Lowpass Filter now include a frequency spectrum display that shows the filter graph.
- While tweaking knobs, sometimes the other UI animations were paused until mouse was moved/released. Fixed.
- Renamed "Set Beats Per Bar" to "Set Time Signature".
- And other improvements.

the freq-analyzer ist very useful, thank you!
btw. is it possible to add another input for the freq-analyzer to match two signals?
the second signal could have another color.
