I don't remember any event that would have triggered this. I just noticed they were gone. I tried reinstalling with the latest installer and that didn't help. Presets for other melda plugins seem to have remained intact.
How do I fix this?

Have a look in the application data folder (on Windows 7, it is C:\Users\DarkStar\AppData\Roaming\MeldaProduction here). Here I have two files:
MSynthesizerpresets.xml, dated 10 June
MSynthesizerpresets.xmlbackup, dated earlier.
You should have two similar.

If the OP or anyone else knows how to fix this, please advise. I experienced the same thing today: All presets disappeared except for one that I made a couple of weeks ago. There's nothing I've done that I could fathom causing this.
I have the XML file "msynthesizerpresets" as DarkStar mentioned, but I can't select that file through the MPowerSynth preset window when I choose the "Import" option, so I'm guessing the presets are a different file type located somewhere else.
I've sent an email to Melda, who have historically been very helpful. If/when I get it sorted out, I'll post the solution here. Any advice in the meantime is much appreciated.

^^^
I've done that
and was puzzled for several minutes.
For info: the xml file is where each plug-in stores its presets. The Export / Import files have a different file extension (.mpresets) and can be located anywhere.

Yup. As Vojtech confirmed, it was the search field. I'm a little surprised this doesn't reset when Reaper or the computer is restarted, but I accept full responsibility for my stupidity. Let this thread stand as a monument so that future dumb-dumbs may solve the problem on their own without wasting Melda's time.
