Step Sequencer Velocity

In the StepSequencer module the Velocity functions (the velocity per note & the Mod Group velocity) don't seem to be working properly (or at least how I think they should function). They act as either the volume is fully on or off instead of being determined by the values (0-127). I was hoping to put a number of notes into a Mod Group and then modulate the volume of the notes in that Group via the Velocity knob (to fade notes in and out of the mix). Has anyone else experienced this?

Nope, seems to be working here ok, heres a snippet...
I used the Basic Synth and the Seq from Event FX menu, connected the Mod Group Velocities to one Metaparameter and added that to the front panel

Very interesting!! Thanks for posting this video. I'll have to work on this with the techniques you show. I need the practice building front panels.bibz1st wrote:Nope, seems to be working here ok, heres a snippet...

Back to this thread. I discovered if you use a Step Sequencer hooked up to the MuSynth (the blue synth) then the Velocity knob on the Group Modifiers in the SS doesn't control the volume of the notes assigned to that group. I tested hooking up to a Basic Synth, the MWO and Grain sampler and the Velocity control worked properly with those synths. So, there's something up with the MuSynth.

After quite a bit of fiddling I see that I have to turn the VS (Velocity Sensitivity?) almost all the up, like 70%, on the Amp module for this to work. Thanks for the tip!bibz1st wrote:Make sure the Velocity knobs in Musynth are anywhere but zero percent and it will work just fine.
