Call for Presets

The latest beta email (11.00d) that many of the regulars here probably got had a suggestion that additional active presets would be welcome for many of the plug-ins. This kind of unexpectedly came out of left field and I don't have any ideas for other than for MXXX - some ideas for which have kicking around in my head for some time now. With all the many advances in multiparameters (the number available in MXXX now compared to the original version, and the many advanced display options in non-edit mode), there seems to be a whole new world of possibilities that have opened up since the initial release.

So, my questions to Vojtech are these:

Given any consideration to a major Round 2 of MXXX active preset building?

Now that we can take a single, deeply-developed active preset and create a fully fleshed-out multi-function dedicated plug-in in its own right, have you had any thoughts about being able to release these individual focused creations as stand-alone effects with only the active preset exposed to the user (and costing much less than a full MXXX purchase)?

Well, I didn't really think about another preset making action for MXXX, but creating standalone effects with MXXX inside them is definitely on the table. Infact MTurboDelay should be one.

Presets in v10 are frankly not that good, IMHO, as far as I've tried some. Please improve quality or just don't include bullshit presets. Good taste is a valuable thing to have. Saves other people's time.

I have already created a Delay in MTurboMix which could be adapted.

Saves other people's time."....ouch! ...a bit harsh me thinks ...as far as I know the majority of the "presets" are community contributed and not particularly curated by anyone. Besides "valuable" is in the eye of the beholder/user. For the most part, I've only really used the "presets" as a learning a tool/springboard to create something that has value to me in my projects. I do find the "naming convention/organization" more a hindrance than a help ...JMTC.../s~

Well, I have what I think is a killer idea for something along these lines. I'll send it to you in an email offline in case you think it's got merit. Also, MTurboDelay ... this should get the wheels turning for some of us - what possibilities!

A mturbodelay inside mxxx? Sounds awesome, but this way you can't use it inside mturbomix?! That would be no good idea.
