Sorry if I am missed something in the manual/vids but I just changed a midi chord pattern (from whole note to something with chord notes overlapping for athmospheres/pad kind of stuff) and want to save it but could not find where and how to. I could save the progression on the right of the pattern generator but thats not my intention, I want the chords pattern itself on the left.

You select all notes in the pattern and then press Create preset.

Hi Stuttaton,
thanks a lot, works
. At least was not that obvious, not really logic (at least for me) that you save the progression pattern in the pattern window and the style pattern in the clip window, but at long as it works....
thanks a lot, works

NO, dont work for me, I can save but when I try to load the new preset on an already generated chord pattern (same chords) it dont work, wont change the notes
Even if I generate a new midi clip wont load my pattern.

Not sure what you mean with chord notes overlapping. I don't think the notes are allowed to overlap in the presets. It will save only the rythm of the notes for the chord patterns. Not the note pitch.

Maybe thats the problem. Background: for pads/athmos you need long, evolving notes so I just kept the notes that are in the chords of sequential beats and extended them into the next beat. If that is not possible to save in presets would be kind of big disadvantage for this kind of patterns so I see the logic behind it cause it depends on the chord progression you choose.
NO: dont work for that pattern too, it dont overlap, it has three notes, if this is NOT a chord pattern....

Think I begin to understand, just not possible to save that kind of presets (at least not as chord, maybe I will have to look if it is possible as "arp" though a "pad" for me is kind of "chord"...). When I load the preset, yes, I kind of have the rhythm on the notes but still all the notes. Maybe a new category for this would be great where you can just save relative note/rhythm and that for longer then just one bar (I mean something like "root/chord note" from-too, "second note of chord" from-too etc.) cause I just can see no way to make any presets for that kind of pad/athmo stuff this way.

The patterns for the chord generator should be monophonic.
